Big changes coming to S3!

Heads Up Folks!

If you use Path based references to your objects in S3 its time to start switching to virtual.

Jeff Bar has made his usual in depth post so for more details here here to have a read:

Key Points:

Original Plan – Support for the path-style model ends on September 30, 2020.

Revised Plan – Support for the path-style model continues for buckets created on or before September 30, 2020. Buckets created after that date must be referenced using the virtual-hosted model.

This is being done for two reasons:

• Manageability
• New features coming soon will rely on virtual-hosted model only
