Bulk delete contact objects from AD OU

The situation for us was the migration of a Novell site to a Microsoft site.

In order for the Dept B’s employees to turn up in Dept A’s global address list in Outlook an OU was created and DirXML was used to create; for every user in Dept B a Contact Object in Dept A’s Active Directory under a specified OU.

This script allowed for mass deletion of contact objects when we were bulk creating real live exchange mailboxes in replacement as we migrate each user from Dept Bs infrastructure to Dept A’s.
