AppMesh 101
1 min readRecently at Re:Inforce AppMesh was given center stage on the keynote by Abby Fuller who essentially positioned AppMesh as a security tool though it has been positioned under the Network & Content Delivery category.
This’ll be one to watch the security folk get their heads around 😉 (I get to say these things being an ex-Security Manager :P)
For those of us (including myself) who are new to AppMesh this is a great blog post from AWS to have a read and scratch up the skills on:

The main take away I have for the moment is that it does not encompass the Lambda Serverless microservice landscape yet but is on the roadmap. For now it only monitors and controls the following microservice landscape:
